Travel Couples – Priyanka and Anchal
Today we are starting a new series on Travel Couples. Our earlier Solo Travel Series was a hit and we are especially thankful to our readers for the same.
Through our Instagram Page, managed by our Admin, we have been interacting with enthusiastic Travel Couples. Couples who have been exploring the world in their unique way. Priyanka and Anchal are two such amazing individuals, whom we adore and appreciate on their wonderful journeys together.

We took a small peek into their travel journeys through a short interview. Today we would like to share the details of our interview, one of the finest travel couples Priyanka and Anchal.

The Interview
Where did you travel for the first time as a couple?
We traveled for the first time to Maldives.
How many places have you travelled?
We've been married for around 3.5 years and as a couple, we've explored around 15-16 places in these years.
Share your travel experiences and some memorable moments which you cherish.
The Maldives is the most beautiful place we've ever been to. We love beaches and it was our honeymoon, so the Maldives will be cherished forever. it is the best place to relax and admire the scenic beauty.

What are the essential things one needs to take care of during travelling especially for a couple?
Both of us love to get clicked and create memories. So essentials for us as a couple would be cameras and its accessories. We also love to plan our itinerary beforehand so that we can explore and experience things that both us wish to.
How is travelling as a couple different from travelling with other members of the family or in groups?
Travelling as a couple helps build a new relationship with each other because it enables couples to do new and interesting things together. The bond between them gets stronger as it helps them learn more about each other. It helps a new couple to improve communication ability because every individual has different tastes and preferences and creating a travel plan requires adequate communication and a whole lot of planning. Disagreements may happen but at the end of the day, all the problems are laid out in the open and are dealt with by talking things out. We take care that both of our wishes to explore the new place have been fulfilled. Whereas, travelling with a family or in a group we might have to compromise from our wish list to keep up with them.

What are your future plans for travelling?
Well, we had a plan for a cruise trip to Greece and Italy this year, but because of COVID, we couldn't go. So maybe next year, once things are normal, we will.
Who or what inspired you to venture out on travels?
Both of our parents, because we have been travelling since we were kids(not together). We have explored a lot of places even before marriage individually.

I can relate to this lovely couple about travel. Me and my husband have been enjoying our travels before the pandemic and we learned so much from each other. I realized that my travel life is much better with a good companion like him 🙂

It has to be so wonderful to be able to travel everywhere with your partner, I love that!
I think that this is something that my partner and I could also get into, perhaps when the kids are all a bit older.
My daughter went to the Maldives too a few years ago, and she was most impressed by it 🙂

Isn’t it great to have a partner in traveling? I know there are a lot of solo travelers, but since I have such a compassionate and patient travel partner it makes sharing the journey that much better! I want him to see everything I see and experience everything together. I wouldn’t want it any other way =)
