I absolutely love San Diego. I always joke with people that San Diego is the closest I’ve ever been to Mexico. That being said, your list of 8 places to visit is spot on. I love love love Coronado Beach. When I worked for the Department of Defense, I would stay in the nearby Navy Lodging and I visited the beach often. I enjoyed many competitive games of beach volleyball there. I definitely recommend the Cabrillo National Monument…and one should absolutely get a picture of the lighthouse there.
