Airports I have visited – Selected few

I had been writing articles of my business travels quite often. In fact that provided me opportunities to visit many places. Today I felt like writing about the airports i have visited or basically hoped into during my travels. Well, there are more to the list, but I selected few of them to share with my friends and readers. Will be sharing more in my next article.

All the airports I have visited, have specialty of their own. Some in their unique decor, some in their colossal size and some in their simplicity. The journey from and to each of the airports I have visited – had been siginificant and hence I selectively hand-picked them for this article.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Mumbai Airport

One of the phenomenal airports I have visited. This place is significant in my life as I had started my professional career in this city. Nostalgic memories flash through my mind, the moment I step inside the airport. There is an unusual bond which is inexplicable and I feel like returning back to this place more often. In fact I had sometimes visited the place just to sync up with my memories irrespective of my business travels.

Manohar International Airport in Goa

Goa is one of my favourite destinations and the love for this place triples every time. I specifically loved the new Manohar International Airport. Its simple yet artistic in its decor and has a charm of its own. I was unable to control myself to pose for a photograph. The aesthetic beauty of the airport is truly something to appreciate.

Qatar International Airport

A massive airport with several terminals, always booming with life and entertainment. I have been into this airport innumerable times. Few during transit and few while visiting the country. I never missed shopping in its Duty free shops. The entire airport has a plethora of things to offer. The food counters, restaurants, coffee shops etc are a delight.

Fort Myers International Airport in Southwest Florida

A simple, yet elegant airport to be in. The airport is significant in the sense it provided me a golden opportunity to visit the place – Southwest Florida. My stay was super cool with a beautiful weather, nice serene place for accommodation and a well stretched shopping arena. I visited the Fort Myers beach and enjoyed each and every moment of my travel.

Harry Reid International Airport

One of the happening and energetic airports I have visited, I must say. You can understand from the casinos that its the entry to the super vibrant city of Las Vegas. It was my visit for a special event which i thoroughly enjoy every year. It has provided me opportunity to grow up in my career and also a chance to visit the great sphere which is an attraction.

Koh Samui International Airport

Still fresh in front of my eyes, the cute artistic Koh Samui Airport. The place has captured a special place in my heart. Its tranquil atmosphere, calm weather and serenity are just unparalleled and incomparable. If I get a chance again, I will visit the place and reminisce the memories. And I sincerely recommend to visit the place and indulge in its scintillating beauty.

Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai

Watching FIFA World Cup at Qatar had been an incredible experience and that provided me an opportunity to hop over at Al Makhtoum International Aiport or Dubai World Central airport. Not a grand one but quiet and peaceful airport and indeed very spacious. Did not face any issue boarding the flight for our onward journey to Doha.

Dubai International Airport

I had often frequented to this airport. Majority during my business travels and once while visiting with my family. An awesome airport, well-curated in its architectural aura. I kept on clicking pictures, picturesque in all corners. Truly an experience to be proud of.
