Bangalore to Goa Road Tour Description
We started our trip during Dussehra holiday. We travelled with 2 cars and 1 bike. All my friends started the trip 3 days early to enjoy their bachelor times in GOA. They left their family in Bangalore and their families travelled with me. I travelled with 3 kids and 3 ladies. Kids enjoyed the journey too much, with a little bit of fighting between the kids; fun-filled drive indeed.
From Bangalore to GOA there are several routes. Faster route is through NH48 via Hubli and another route is via Jog falls through NH66. We followed the route via NH 66; we had plans to see Jog falls. The distance is close to 650 KM and we took 14 hours to reach.
Jog Falls
It is one of the most famous falls in South India, yet it disappoints me every time. I tried so many times to see a good amount of water in Jog falls yet every time I found it disappointing. This place is very good, and you will enjoy it without water.

The Bangalore to Goa Journey Continues
After a long drive and 5/6 breaks finally, we reached GOA @ 9:30pm.
Evening was fun-filled got a warm welcome as all other friends had already checked in and they were waiting for us to reach. They bought a lot of fish and cooked for us. We enjoyed till late night.
Next day morning we (me and my wife) got up late (@ 8:00 am; though both of us don't drink alcohol yet we give company to our friends, don't know where my kid was sleeping. We decided to go out for breakfast near the beach. We noticed that all others were sleeping. After taking good English breakfast near the beach we went to Varca beach. The beach is not at all crowded and clean; you can find hardly any people there.
Touring around Goa Beaches
We reached hotel /Villa at 10:30 am; by the time people finished their breakfast and were getting ready for the day. We started our day at 11:15 am from “Benaulim Beach”. We enjoyed at the beach and I entered the sea with my sunglass. I lost my sunglass when a large wave hit me.

After taking a good bath in the sea we went to a seafood restaurant and ate a lot of fish, prawns, squid. After lunch we went to Colva beach in the evening. Colva beach looks very good in the evening. After taking evening snacks in Colva we went to Calangute beach at night. Between Calangute and Hotel / Villa we lost our way in between; GPS showed us longer route yet never mind driving at night in GOA is always fun. It took more than 2 hours to reach. I and my son ate in KFC at night near Calangute beach (our favourite, MCD and KFC).

Next day everyone was ready for breakfast in the morning and we went together to the breakfast location. We spent a lot of time in Varca beach. For lunch, we went to a restaurant for seafood. In Goa, you will get very good seafood and fresh fish. We hired a few rented bike to enjoy the roads in GOA. Kids enjoyed bike ride in GOA. In the afternoon we went to Palolem Beach; very good beach and the crowd is good. Good parking space yet you may need to wait there to get the parking.

Next day we came back to Bangalore.
