Featuring Food Bloggers – Purvi and Karishma

The beautiful part of our blog and our authors is that we are all foodies and we love good food. Our readers must have already checked out the food articles we post frequently in our blog. We have interacted with many talented and skilled food bloggers during our interaction in the social media platforms. Purvi and Karishma are two awesome and super-efficient moms and food bloggers. We are extremely glad to interview and feature them in our website.

We especially adore and appreciate their zeal in creating wonderful and interesting recipes for the kids. The dishes are delectable and delicious, will surely satiate the enormous and sometimes tough demands of kids. So here we present before you our discussion with food bloggers – Purvi and Karishma.

Interview with Food Bloggers – Purvi and Karishma

When did you first start your journey as a food enthusiast or blogger?

We started our journey as food bloggers from June 2020.

Who or what inspired you to embrace the passion for food blogging?

Our main inspiration is our children. It's really important for us that they eat nutritious, home-cooked meals, which is what we grew up with. A lot of credit goes to both our mums and mothers-in-law from whom we have learnt so much. Both our mums taught us to cook from a young age and we will always be grateful for that.
We have always shared a love for food and found we were always sending each other photos of what we have cooked. So thought it would be a great idea to create a page on Instagram to share our food with a wider audience. We are hoping our page inspires others to cook at home and also to cook for their children. Our kids love getting involved in the kitchen and it's a great activity to cook with them too.
We started our blog during the lockdown and it's been a year since lockdown started. This blog has been a great diversion for us and its given us something positive to focus on. It has also given us that extra time to cook different dishes and to explore new recipes which our kids are really enjoying.

Which are your best and unique recipes prepared till now?

There are so many, but a few standouts are the Gujarati khandvi, stuffed paneer curry, spinach and ricotta stuffed shells and filo pastry pasta pie. All of these went down really well with our families.

Tips and suggestions for upcoming food bloggers

Focus on the quality, post as regularly as you can and support your fellow food bloggers. We have learnt so much from other food bloggers, who are constantly inspiring us. Having a support network with some bloggers has also been very valuable in our journey.

Who is or are your idols whom you follow as food bloggers or influencers?

Nisha Parmar @nishascookingagain
Rishi @dish_by_rish
Hema Subramanian @homecookingshow
Neha @nehascookbook

Please describe a memorable event in your life related to food blogging?

When we achieved 1000 followers, we were really proud of ourselves. It's never been about numbers for us, but knowing that people like the content we share is very encouraging and motivating. It really pushed us to create better content and new recipes. So if you like our content, please like, comment, share and save our posts, it really means a lot is us and we really appreciate the support.

What are your future plans as a food blogger?

We want to continue to share our food and try new recipes and cuisines. We would also love to do some collaborations with other bloggers or brands. At the moment, we are open to anything, so if anyone has any ideas, feel free to reach out to us.

What are the types of recipes you specifically focus on?

We focus on family-friendly vegetarian and vegan dishes. We both have an Indian background, so a lot of our dishes have that influence which our children also enjoy. A lot of Indian food we make is also vegan, so it's great to be able to share those recipes with the vegan community. We also love exploring different cuisines and feel our page had something to offer to everyone.

Are you associated with any particular food brand? Do you conduct events related to recipe preparation and training?

At the moment we are not associated with any brands.

We hope you have enjoyed reading the experience of our food bloggers of today – Purvi and Karishma. Please visit their Instagram page to check out the mouth-watering and lips-smacking recipes prepared by them. We are sure you will all like it, do support them.

Holy. Moly. Vegan has never looked so good! I’m no vegan by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m chomping at the bit to try all of those! Great interview and REALLY great food!

I’ve always admired all of the good looking food that food bloggers make. I know I always wonder about how long it takes for them to perfect a recipe though.

I’m very much hoping that having children will help me up my game when it comes to cooking and finding healthy, yummy options, too. I can understand how it influenced them!
