The key attraction is the tomb of Sultan Syed Shahabdul Hameed in the sacred space inside. The annual Kandoori Festival during Muharram attracts people of all faiths.

San Thome Cathedral Basilica, Chennai
It is one of the three churches in the world that is built on the tomb of one of Jesus’s apostles. built by the Portuguese, in the 16th century, it is a masterpiece of Gothic-style architecture.
