Karnan (2021, 2h 30m, Tamil)
Critically acclaimed, performance-packed action thriller movie from the Tamil film industry, Karnan is loosely based on the 1995 Kodiyankulam violence. The story revolves around the suppression and caste-based oppression suffered by the people of Podiyankulam village. The protagonist Karnan from the same village revolts against the inhuman treatment of his people. Gathering the entire villagers, he organizes a massive protest fighting the police to gain what is lawfully their rights.

Raging fire (2021, 2h, Cantonese)
The lives of a few police officers are jeopardized when they happen to kill a criminal during an investigation. The worst part is their chief failed to protect them, and the law takes its toll on them. Once out of the prison, they become worse than criminals causing violence and death among the police force itself. Officer Cheung has to tame the unruly. Ngo and Cheung used to work together, but there is a reason for the raging fire between them. One of the engaging action thriller movies you can enjoy watching.

Escape from Mogadishu (2021, 2h 1m, Korean)
1990, Somalia. Counselor Kang arrives from South Korea with gifts for president Barre, but it is stolen from the diplomats. Their appointment with president Barre gets canceled. While the tussle between both sets of diplomats goes on tension arises abruptly when rebels attack and overturn Barre's government. The riot turns bloody all over, and the diplomats are trapped in. National emergency takes away diplomatic privileges. Diplomats of both Koreas must stick together. Survival and safe exit from Somalia amidst chaos become their priority.

Gekijoban Signal (2021, 2h, Japanese)
A top government official dies in a car accident which was a planned assassination. The investigating team of Kento Saegusa and Misaki Sakurai suspect foul play. While investigating similar cases, they discover such accidental deaths in 2009 too. The investigating team soon realizes they are fighting bioterrorism.

Seobok (2021, 1h 54m, Korean)
Dr. Andeson is being killed in a drone attack at Seoin Research Institute subsequently security is beefed up to safeguard a high-profile national project. The sci-fi story is about genetically manipulated embryonic cells to give birth to a specimen. The specimen or a cloned human is named Seobok who resembles a teenager but with superhuman powers. His bone marrow is injected out to cure human diseases. All these are in quest of the elixir of immortality. Since Seobok's existence is a threat to many, dying Min Ki-Hua has been tasked with the protection of Seobok. Some of the dialogues are really intriguing.

Nayat (2021, 2h, Malayalam)
An absolute corker of a story and narration. Set in a village police station and its surroundings, the movie begins portraying the background of a few police officers and the location. Civil police officer Praveen and ASI Maniyan get into a scuffle with a local thug in the station. He escapes imprisonment with his political influence. Officers Praveen, Maniyan, and Sunitha, while returning by a jeep from a party, get into a collision with a bike, and one of the riders is killed. The man dead is a friend of the thug whom the officers had infuriated at the station. A politically enraged mob is behind the officers. The trio is left with little option other than to flee for their lives. The brutal hunt begins! One of the best action thriller movies you can watch.

Unhinged (2020, 1h 30m, English)
The psychopath, Tom Cooper breaks into the house of his ex-wife and kills her and her boyfriend before setting it on fire. Kyle and his mother Rachel Flynn are driving to his school during a rush hour morning. She is already late and receives a call from a client which provokes her. As a spontaneous reaction, she honks at Tom's pickup truck at a signal. Tom conveys his apology for slowing down in front of her car and demands an apology in return for honking. The scene turns unpleasant and the psychopath in Tom wakes up and chases after Rachel. If the aforementioned Malayalam movie gave you an adrenalin run, this one is going to pump it further.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Final & Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning (2021, 2h 16m, Japanese)
Both the movies are the latest additions to the series based on Nobuhiro Watsuki's manga. With the ancient-classic portrayal, the plot is set in the mid-80s in Japan. Himura Kenshin, a lethal political assassin is part of a revolution to topple the Tokugawa shogunate. Although Himura is a veteran in his profession, his heart still aches for the people he kills. He happens to save a woman by the name of Tomoe from a few assailants. Moved by his act, she decides to stay by him. Himura is forced to go hiding and Tomoe joins him and they both live hiding until he realizes who actually Tomoe is.

Major Grom: Plague Doctor (2021, 2h 15, Russian)
Major Igor Grom, a police detective with the Saint Petersburg police is chasing a few bank robbers. As usual, he has busted them but not without causing other damages. He is answerable and is summoned by his understanding superior. As always, his colleagues bet that he will be dismissed this time. Fed up with the system, a vigilante enters the scene claiming to clean the city of all evil. The killing spree continues in Saint Petersburg by the masked man and Major Grom must do something about it.
