International Food Festival – The National Street Food Festival
Delhi, the capital city of India, hosts one of the exclusive and exotic street food festivals every year. Renowned in the world as the National Street Food Festival, almost 500 authentic street food vendors assemble during the festival to offer their tastiest delicacies.
The main aim of the festival is to promote street foods among the Indians and also international travellers from different parts of the world. Delhi is famous for hosting numerous street side shops and stalls selling mouth watering snacks and refreshments every day. The National Street Food Festival adds grandeur and elegance to the city, alluring food lovers nationally and globally.

The Arrangements
The National Association of Street Vendors of India, popularly known as NAVI and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FASSAI are the pioneers for hosting the National Street Food Festival in India. NASVI is a strong organization with a network of 636 street vendors acting as a representative for almost 8,67,426 vendors across all the 26 states of India. With a special aim of promoting street food, they organize the festival every year.
This year, 2019 they would celebrate the 11th anniversary of the National Street Food Festival from 25th to 29th December at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The renowned food chefs of India like Sanjeev Kapoor are invited to inaugurate the festivals. Their presence helps in promoting the festival to an international level.

An Exclusive Street Food Festival
The National Street Food Festival occurs for 3 days where the street food vendors would traverse your food loving mind to a journey of delightful street menus and dishes. The festival is a conglomeration of the best street foods from different states of India. The lips smacking dishes of pani puri, vada pav, pav bhaji, Tikki chat, aloo chat, ladoos dominate the shops of the festival.
The food lovers are sure to have a gala day at the National Street Food Festival, savouring their taste buds with the tasty street foods offered by the prominent street vendors of India. Along with the foods you will be entertained with musical events and entertainment shows. It is considered to be the signature event of Delhi with thousands of visitors arriving at the venue to indulge in the amazing experience of delicious street foods.

Timings and Ticket
The National Street Food Festival occurs for 3 days from 12:00 PM to 12 midnight. The foodies would have a long time to enjoy each and every food and would not be left disappointed.
The entry ticket is INR 60 for one person and is available online at www.bookmyshow.com.
