It is another crime investigation story that could be in your May movies list. Unlike the above-mentioned movies, the story of Pravinkoodu Shappu is narrated on a lighter note. SI Santhosh is assigned the task of investigating a murder in the Pravinkoodu Shappu, a local toddy bar. The victim is Babu, the owner of the toddy bar. At the time of the incident, there were eleven people inside the bar drinking and playing cards. One of them is Suni, who is in the military. Upon his instructions, they all decide to stay inside the bar until the police arrive, as he suspects one of them is the killer. However, SI Santhosh, an astute officer with sharp observation skills, has his doubts. He suspects the presence of a twelfth person who may have committed the crime. The whole story revolves around the investigation until he believes to has reached the culprit.
On a final note, let me add movies like Identity, L2: Empuraan, and Ouseppinte Osiyathu as worthy contenders to be in the May movies list.
