National Tourism Day – At Mumuso India Store
Tourism – a very popular word in my dictionary. Majorly because I am a travel freak and love travelling to numerous destinations be it National or International. The pandemic has led to serious loss of revenue for the tourism industry. People had to keep indoors and stop travelling with the lockdown in effect and other safety concerns. But being one of the travel enthusiasts, I wish things to be normal and stable soon. Hence few days before when I received a request to be a guest in an event organized to celebrate National Tourism Day, I felt honoured. Before I began penning down my wonderful experience of the National Tourism Day sponsored by Mumuso India, let me tell you a bit about the significance of the day.

Significance of National Tourism Day
Every year on 25th January, India celebrates National Tourism Day to promote the tourism industry of the country. Rich in culture, history and natural wonders, the country is an extravaganza of numerous interesting traditions, customs, flora, and fauna. The amazing facts that govern India are alluring to the travellers and globetrotters worldwide. Almost 18 million tourists both national and international have visited India since 2019. The numbers are expected to rise exponentially every year, amounting to a revenue of about USD 512 billion by 2029. As an Indian, I feel proud when I look at the numbers. And I feel more proud when I visit the gigantic mountains, the vast oceans, the lush green forests and the enigmatic landscape. More importantly, the festivals, folk music and dance, and the traditional paintings add to the aura and charm of the country.
A Day at Mumuso India
Mumuso India branch of kolkata had organized an event to celebrate the National Tourism Day on 25th of January at their Park Street store. It is one of their flagship stores in Kolkata. I was extremely glad when they approached to host me in the event. Especially wanted to thank Tanushree, the moderator and hostess of the event and also Arshi Anwar, the organizer of the event. I was introduced to their wide range of travel products and travel accessories. Besides, I shared my travel experiences and the benefit of using their products during any travels.
