One Year Blog Anniversary – Travel Photos (Part 1)

29th May, yes that's exactly the date when I ventured into the world of blogging. I published my first blog post on my website. Out of sheer passion and interest, I had created the blog to share my travel experiences and photos. I had no idea about SEO, about beautifying my website, about attracting readers, in fact, nothing. The only thought that prevailed through my mind was I had to pen down my travel memories. As I am about to celebrate my One year Blog Anniversary, I nurture good feelings inside me. A feeling of achievement, a feeling of love and a feeling of unlimited happiness.

I have a long way to go and I know the path is not easy. But still, I want to celebrate one one year blog anniversary. It will be my way of showing gratitude, and thanks to my support backbone – my parents, my husband, and some of my friends.

The interesting and most beautiful part was when two of my authors Dipannita Bhattacharya and Deepu Paul agreed to be part of my blogging journey. Their passion for discovering new and interesting topics have improved my blog substantially.

As I celebrate my one year blog anniversary, I must not forget to mention my fellow and experienced bloggers and writers. They inspired and motivated me to go ahead. They have helped me immensely to promote in different social media platforms. Please check my conversations with them in our Interviews section.

In this article, I want to share with my readers, fellow bloggers and friends, a few travel photos clicked by my mother. She has a special interest in photography and loves experimenting with the camera. She has been to many places in different parts of the world, some with my father and some with me, my husband, and my son. I want to start celebrating my one year blog anniversary by sharing some of her beautiful clicks.

Eiffel Tower – Paris

Petronas Towers – Malaysia

Colosseum – Italy

Leaning Tower of Pisa

Switzerland

Phewa Lake – Nepal

Local Musician – Jaipur, India

London Eye

Golden Sand Beach – Thiruvananthapuram, India

Teesta River – Sikkim, India

And here comes the Photographer herself – My Sweet Beautiful Mom, Gouri Banerjee

Happy one year blog anniversay! It can be tough sometimes but you persevered. Tell your mom she has a good eye when it comes to photography. I especially loved her photo of the Patronas towers. She captured it at a good angle. All the best on your blogging journey.

I didn’t see the London Eye when I was visiting. I must have missed a huge section of the city, lol. Good excuse to go back!

First of all, congratulations on your first year of blogging! I vividly remember my first year – the struggles, the success and the small wins! Continue to inspire people with your amazing articles and awesome travel photos! It’s very helpful for those who can’t physically travel. It’s like their “digital travel” to beautiful places!
