Experience Luxury in a Desert – “Dubai”
Dubai, one of the most popular places in the United Arab Emirates, provides a unique experience of the sand-filled desert combined with beaches, skyscrapers, waterparks, luxurious shopping centers, street foods, and adventure sports. A common man's belief says a city in a desert will lack in numerous amenities and amusements. But one will be wonderstruck in Dubai with its amazing arrangements starting from the modern architectural buildings to the natural wonders.
Cultural Heritage
If one desires to explore the cultural heritage of the place, then one must start with the Dubai Creek. Its believed that the creek was once the hub of all trade activities in UAE. It's worth taking a cruise to wave through the creek as it passes between the Gulf and the Ras al Khor bird sanctuary. Other than the cruise there are cable cars that operate over the 2.3 km stretched Dubai creek. One must not miss the live dolphin shows and can get adventurous with quite a few water sports in the creek waters. The streets alongside the creek are busy during the Dubai festival with multiple live performances by dancers, musicians, action performers with fireworks to breathtakingly light up the place.
The Al Fahidi Historial neighbourhood is a must visit to experience the traditional life in Old Dubai and I bet it will give you that goose bump feeling by reminiscing the stories from the Arabian Nights. The neighbourhood is adorned by the wind towers, museums, art galleries and the cultural activities.
Get Adventurous
Dubai has one of the best waterparks attracting tourists all around the world who want to be twined with the coolness of the desert and the entertainment. The Legoland water park and the Aquaventure waterpark are flocked by tourists and their kids. Its quite thrilling spending time in the parks with the adrenaline pumping rides.
Entertainment is limitless in Dubai with the incredible theme parks with Kite surf shows, innumerable activities for kids, an artificially created rain forest with wide varieties of animals and plants within a natural ecosystem and indoor theme parks with the crazy superheroes.
Palm Jumeirah
Dubai's outstanding attraction, if one must say, is Palm Jumeirah. Its an artificial island covering an area of about 1380 acres and it took a time of almost 7 years to complete this archipelago from its construction to residence. Viewed from the top, it resembles a stylized palm tree encompassed within a circle. NASA had captured several images of Palm Jumeirah and its absolutely amazing to watch the pictures. One can find villas, apartments, hotels and retail stores located along the trunk and crescent of the palm tree.
Indulge in the Beaches
It's really astonishing to enjoy the beauty of the beaches amidst a desert. The Sunset Beach, the Jumeirah beach, the Kite beach, La Mer beachside, the Black Palace beach, and the Al Mamzar beach park are the most popular among the tourists. If one wants a dip into the cool waters and bask in the sun with a sip into the refreshing drinks, then these beaches offer all the ingredients. The beaches offer a fun loving with the numerous water sports activities and the nature-loving with stunning sunsets coupled with the calm and tranquil breeze.
Scintillating Desert Safari
A desert safari in Dubai brings with it a multimodal experience with the desert ride, sunset and an Arabic evening with food, music and dance. It's a thrilling roller coaster ride along the sands. A camp in the desert is a somewhat different experience along with the chilled drinks and cool breezes. The night is captivating with the Arabic style of entertainment.
Hail the skyscrapers
The skyscrapers in Dubai symbolize its luxurious grandeur and architectural excellence. It hosts the world's tallest building the Burj Khalifa, approximate height being 828 m. The construction of the world's highest structure is in progress in Dubai which is expected to cross the heights of Burj Khalifa. The skyline presents a gigantic view of the great buildings constructed by the world's greatest architects. One will get mesmerized by the light and music show in the evening near the Burj Khalifa. The music is enchanting and will again remind you of the Arabian Nights.
Dubai is a reflection of history, culture, dynamism, luxury and entertainment consolidated and coupled strongly, captivating the mind, heart and soul of millions of travelers across the world.

Dubai was realLy built so luxuriously and artistically! The Palm Jumeirah is just breath-taking- the aerial view looks so good I can imagine how much more when one is there physically. Luxury in the desert indeed!
