About Mumbai

Mumbai is the place of people speaking two languages Hindi and Marathi. Mumbai is the capital city of Maharashtra in India. It has places like- Bandra, Andheri, Kalyan Dombivili, Dadar, Nagpara and Navi Mumbai. The kids will be especially interested to visit the three cricket stadiums and one football stadium. The cricket stadiums are Wankhede stadium and Brabourne. The football stadiums are D Y Patil Stadium, and Mumbai football arena. 

Films

Mumbai creates Bollywood films and Mumbai films. Bollywood films are cast in the Hindi language. The local Mumbai films are cast in the Marathi language. They both started in 1913. The first film was Harishchandra, starring D.D.D.Dhabke and Bhalachandra D. Phalke. The rest films kept releasing between 1914 and 2020. The first modern Bollywood film actor was Dilip Kumar and Prithviraj Kapoor.

Wankhede Stadium

DY Patil Sports Stadium

It is a football stadium, hosting several football matches must to the delight of kids. There are provisions of playing tennis, badminton and even swimming.

Brabourne Stadium

The Brabourne cricket stadium is also one of the best places to visit in Mumbai with kids. With a sprawling capacity to accommodate 50,000 spectators, it has hosted several domestic and international cricket matches.

Mumbai Football Arena

As the name implies, Mumbai Football Arena has been significant in hosting several International and Domestic football matches and tournaments. It is comparatively smaller than the other stadiums in Mumbai.

Elephanta Caves

The Elephanta caves possess a historical value and are listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. You can find images and sculptures of Lord Shiva inside them.

Lonavala

An exotic hill station near Mumbai, easily accessed via road. Its greenery and tinkling waterfalls are really amazing. The key attractions of Lonavala are Karla Caves and the Bhaja Buddhist Caves.

Khandala

Khandala is another popular hill station in Maharashtra near Mumbai. You can combine both Lonavala and Khandala in a single trip. The place is specifically renowned for the three-tiered Kune waterfalls.

Della Adventure Park

Della Adventure Park is one of the superb places to visit in Mumbai for kids. Its a theme park with a lot of fun-filled rides for kids to enjoy. The park is the largest extreme adventure amusement park in India.

Imagicaa Water Park

Imagicaa Water Park is the largest theme park in India. It houses numerous water rides and activities for the kids. You can spend an entire day in the water park.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport

Kids love visiting airports and watching the takeoff and landing of flights. Besides, they can observe planes of different airlines company too. The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai provides all the exciting opportunities for kids to experience flights.
